Lufkin Texas (May 16, 2017) – Woodland Heights Medical Center announces it has joined the NICHE program. Participation in the NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders) program indicates an organization’s commitment to excellence in the care of older adults.

By becoming a NICHE member, Woodland Heights signals its dedication to providing patient-centered care for older adults. Through this membership, the facility is able to offer evidence-based, interdisciplinary approaches that promote better outcomes, positive experiences, and improved care for older adults by a leading elder care nursing program.
