Lufkin, Texas – To celebrate National Doctors’ Day this year, Woodland Heights Medical Center is making charitable contributions to five local organizations in honor of its medical staff.
This day is set aside to recognize physicians for their dedication and contributions to our community.
“I cannot say enough good things about the medical staff at Woodland Heights,” states Jose Echavarria, CEO of Woodland Heights Medical Center. “Deep East Texas is fortunate that so many gifted and caring physicians call Lufkin home. On behalf of the staff of Woodland Heights, we are honored to work alongside them in caring for our community.”
Woodland Heights Medical Center recently held a reception in honor of our physicians and presented five local non-profit organizations $1,000 donations in honor of the medical staff:
- Christian Information and Service Center
- Joseph House
- The Men’s Fieldhouse
- The Mosaic Center
- Winnie Berry Humane Society of Angelina County
