Nurse Friendly Hospital

Heights Medical Center is proud to be one of few hospitals in the
state of Texas that is designated as a Nurse
Friendly hospital. In order to be selected as a Nurse Friendly
hospital, Woodland Heights Medical Center had to meet twelve
essential elements (as defined by nurses and research) that
represent the ideal practice environment. Key
to the designation process, the hospital's own nurses had to confirm
through confidential, online surveying that their facility is
committed to nurses, and values their contributions in its overall
pursuit of safe, quality patient care. The Texas Nurses Association
