Ms. Sally E. Muhlbach is the owner of
Audiological Services, a private audiology
practice established in 1995, in Lufkin, Texas.
She is committed to providing personalized
hearing healthcare, integrity and reliable
service while increasing public awareness
regarding the early identification, treatment
and rehabilitation options for hearing loss.
Regardless of age, no hearing impairment is
insignificant—all warrant hearing management.
Ms. Muhlbach earned a masters in Communication
Disorders/Audiology from Southern Methodist
University. She is board certified in audiology,
a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology
and a member of the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Academy of
Dispensing Audiologists, American Hearing Aid
Associates, Texas Academy of Audiology and Texas
Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She was
presented the Scholar Award by the American
Academy of Audiology in 1999 and 2005.
Ms. Muhlbach is married to her husband of 28
years, Don L. Muhlbach. They have three grown
children—Don, Jr., Molly and Beau. The Muhlbachs
are active members of the First United Methodist
Church and enjoy serving on various committees.
Ms. Muhlbach takes an active role in this
community. She is a board member of the
Lufkin/Nacogdoches Chapter of the American Red
Cross. She has served on Love, INC’s board since
1997, and received the Board Member of the Year
award in 1998 and 2004. She is a past president
of the Lufkin Rotary Club, a multiple Paul
Harris Fellow and recipient of the Outstanding
Service Award to Rotary and the Community award
in 2004. Ms. Muhlbach has been a member of the
Better Business Bureau and has received the No
Customer Complaints certificate for ten
consecutive years. She actively supports the
Angelina County Chamber of Commerce and is
currently involved with the Vision 20/20 Task
Force. Twice, in 2001 and 2005, she has been
voted by the Chamber as a Small Business of the
Year Runner-Up. She is a 2003 graduate of
Leadership Texas. For 11 years, Ms. Muhlbach has
participated in an annual mission trip providing
hearing aids and audiological services to the
hearing-impaired children of Haiti.
