Jones
Chief Executive Officer
Lance Jones was named Chief Executive Officer of Woodland Heights
Medical Center in September 2004. As the CEO, Mr. Jones is
responsible for the overall administration of the hospital,
including financial, operating, and strategic direction.
Mr. Jones has extensive experience in hospital administration. Prior
to his leadership role with Woodland Heights, he served as the Chief
Operating Officer at the Carolinas Hospital System in Florence,
South Carolina, a Triad owned facility. Additionally, he has held
various leadership positions with numerous Triad hospitals,
including Lea Regional Medical Center in Hobbs, New Mexico where he
served as the hospital’s COO; and Gadsden Regional Medical Center in
Alabama where he managed the hospital’s Occupational Medicine and
Rehabilitative Services.
Mr. Jones earned his Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration
from the University of Alabama. Additionally, he holds two
undergraduate degrees in physical therapy and physiology from the
University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand.
