As the Chief Nursing
Officer at Woodland Heights Medical Center, Ms. Busbee is
responsible for all administrative duties related to the
department of nursing. Under her leadership and guidance,
Ms. Busbee was instrumental in developing the hospital’s
open heart surgery program and skilled nursing facility.
Additionally, Ms. Busbee created the hospital’s home health
program in May 1993, and led a major hospital reconstruction
project in 1998. In addition to these initiatives, Ms.
Busbee and her team of nurses have maintained a 98%
satisfaction rate among patients and physicians.
Ms. Busbee is a graduate
of Angelina College where she received her Associate Degree
in Nursing. She later earned her Bachelor of Science in
Nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University. She is a
member of the Angelina College Alumni Association, American
Organization of Nurse Executives, Angelina County COC
Regional Healthcare Alliance Committee, and is a graduate of
Leadership Lufkin.
